A secret resides in a mysterious cave: a Being of Light appeared thousands of years ago to a woman and, in the twenty-first century, Sophia, an anthropologist, sees it again.

Sophia travels to the Middle East to find the cave and understand the enigmatic experience she had in a hospital, never imagining that her research and a few inherited stories would reveal the story of Amtalai, that woman from so many centuries ago and the mother of Abraham.
